Welcome to Pivaru. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our construction waste removal services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:

  • "Company," "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Pivaru, a construction waste removal service provider located at 123 Liverpool Road, London, N1 0PS.
  • "Client," "You," "Your" refers to any individual or entity engaging our services.
  • "Services" means the construction waste removal, collection, transportation, and disposal services provided by Pivaru.
  • "Construction Waste" includes but is not limited to building materials, debris, rubble, and other waste materials generated from construction, renovation, or demolition activities.
  • "Agreement" refers to the contract formed between the Client and Pivaru upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Service Description

Pivaru provides professional construction waste removal services throughout London and surrounding areas. Our services include:

  • Collection of construction and demolition waste from residential and commercial properties
  • Transportation of waste materials to authorized disposal facilities
  • Proper sorting and recycling of materials where applicable
  • Environmentally responsible disposal in compliance with UK regulations
  • Skip hire and container services for larger projects

We reserve the right to refuse collection of hazardous materials, contaminated waste, or items not classified as construction waste without prior arrangement.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Services may be booked through our website, by telephone at +44 7413 972580, or by email at [email protected]. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Pivaru.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Clients must provide accurate information regarding the type and volume of waste
  • Access requirements must be clearly communicated at the time of booking
  • Changes to scheduled appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred collection times

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to VAT where applicable. Pricing is based on the volume, weight, and type of waste materials, as well as location and access requirements.

Payment Conditions:

  • Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless credit terms have been arranged
  • We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, credit card, and debit card
  • Late payments may incur additional charges at a rate of 5% per month
  • Additional charges may apply for hazardous materials, difficult access, or waste exceeding quoted volumes

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients engaging our services agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Accurate Information: Provide truthful and complete information about the waste materials, quantities, and site conditions
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure that all waste materials are legally yours to dispose of
  • Access: Provide safe and adequate access to the waste collection point
  • Prohibited Materials: Do not include hazardous, toxic, or illegal materials without prior disclosure and arrangement
  • Safety: Ensure the collection area is safe and free from obstructions
  • Permits: Obtain any necessary permits for skip placement on public property

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation by Client: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

Cancellation by Pivaru: We reserve the right to cancel services due to extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will reschedule at no additional cost or provide a full refund.

7. Liability and Insurance

Pivaru maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. However, our liability is limited as follows:

  • We are not liable for damage to property resulting from pre-existing conditions or inadequate access
  • Clients are responsible for protecting their property and belongings during waste removal
  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the services provided
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion

8. Environmental Compliance

Pivaru is committed to environmental responsibility and legal compliance. We operate in accordance with UK waste management regulations, including the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011.

We provide waste transfer notes and documentation as required by law. All waste is transported to licensed facilities, and we maximize recycling and recovery wherever possible.

9. Prohibited Materials

The following materials are strictly prohibited unless specifically arranged in advance:

  • Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
  • Hazardous chemicals and substances
  • Medical or clinical waste
  • Radioactive materials
  • Explosive or flammable materials
  • Contaminated soil
  • Electrical equipment containing hazardous substances

Inclusion of prohibited materials may result in additional charges, service refusal, or legal action.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Pivaru and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Client information is used solely for service delivery, invoicing, and communication purposes. We do not share personal data with third parties except as required for service fulfillment or legal compliance.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Modifications to Terms

Pivaru reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, natural disasters, government actions, or pandemics.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any quotation or service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between Pivaru and the Client, superseding all prior discussions, negotiations, and agreements.
